Target began its existence in the early 1990s as an engineering support firm for overseas lighting companies who wanted to buy lighting in China. Though we have been a lighting-focused contract manufacturer for years, we have continued in that engineering tradition by maintaining extensive engineering support services for our clients.

Our project engineers are full time mechanical engineers who are specially trained in die casting, precision machining, plastics, glass and other related manufacturing industries. They are able to use an existing product sample, a "napkin sketch" of something entirely new, or a partial or complete product design and take it from its initial stage through sampling, tool making and production.

Target is able to either build a product to your exact specifications, or suggest suitable construction, materials, lighting electronics and other components if you need us to. Our project designers use their contacts in the lighting components industry as well as the internet and industry periodical research to stay abreast of the latest developments in lighting mechanical design.

Additionally, Target is home to a team of highly talented industrial designers who are able to design collections of chandeliers, sconces, landscape pieces or other types of lighting fixtures for you upon request. After you select the designs you want from our offering, Target's design engineers can take the concept and build a complete set of drawings and bill of materials, selecting suitable materials for you or following your specifications as applicable.
